Kristina Karamo made waves when she was chairwoman of the Michigan Republican Party.
That hasn't changed since she was ousted by the party earlier this year.
Police on Saturday escorted her out of the GOP's convention inside the Dort Financial Center in Flint.
Craig Mauger of the Detroit News reports that she showed up on the convention floor, but the party said.she wasn't registered from her home count of Oakland. So, two officers walked her off the floor and later out of the arena.
"I'm here to support a candidate," Karamo said, as police were escorting out of the lobby of the arena, the News reports. "(Michigan GOP Chairman) Pete Hoekstra and his thugs are trying to have me thrown out of the convention."
"All I did was walk in to try to support a candidate," Karamo added. "And now, they want me thrown out."
The party said she was not registered, so they offered her guest credentials, but she declined. So, she was asked to leave, but refused.
