Don't worry Ohio residents, a lawmaker wants to make your life much safer.
Republican State Rep. Josh Williams says he's introduced legislation that would make it a felony to plant a flag in the center of Ohio Stadium in Columbus, home to the Buckeyes.
The proposed legislation comes after a brawl broke out November 30 at the stadium when Michigan defeated Ohio State and tried to plant a flag in the middle of the field.
"I am proud to introduce the O.H.I.O Sportsmanship Act to make flag planting at midfield a felony in the state of Ohio," Williams wrote on X. "Behavior that incites violent brawls and puts our law enforcement officers in danger has no place on the football field."
